Hello everyone!! I've got a simple question that I'm unsure of. If I just bought a smaller Epiphyllum (unknown species) and planted it in a new 21 Qt. pot, will all I get out of this 'Epi' is growth and zero blooming?
Please let me know!!
Thank you....

Pot size?
Barrysewall, I think I answered this already on a few of your other threads. That is an Epiphyllum oxypetalum from the looks of the growth pattern, and it needs time and maturity to bloom. It will probably put on growth for a year or two before you see blooms.
You should put it outside in filtered sun in the spring after your last frost date has passed and bring it inside before the first frost date in the fall. You should give it some fertilizer a couple of times during the summer.

Look Clare_CA, mabe I'm not as experianced as you~!! If you really want to know something more personal about myself in which I never ever want to explain to anyone, is this. The year 1995 I was in a very terrible accident that nearly killed me, but I recieved a Trematic Brain Injury instead. I needed to learn how to respect anyone / communicate / Eat / go to the bathroom like normal people / take a flippen shower on my own / make people realize that I am not as flippen stupid as they may think / tell every employer of who hires me that I suffered a Trematic Head Injury and so-on.
Mabe this place D.G. isn't for me because I don't remember every single detail of advise someone trying to help explains to me. Don't get me wrong though, you are doing a great job at informing me of what your experianced at, and I appreciate that very much.

Hi Barry. I am sorry if I offended you. That was not my intention. I had just read your post to me over at my Dave's Garden article where you said you still hadn't figured out how threads work here so I was just trying to point out that the answers to the questions you have asked before are in one of your previous threads, and I even bumped them up for you so that you could easily find them at the top. I really don't post much here at the Orchid Cactus forum anymore and was just trying to help you as many of your threads were going unanswered.
