Hello. I would very much like to obtain some Pardancanda, or Candy Lily, plants. Working on trade list, but will have daylilies and hibiscus to exchange. Please let me know if interested. Also looking for seeds saved from especially large pardancanda blooms, and those in the purple and burgundy color range. Thank you, John.
Pardancanda (Candy Lily)
John, I have healthy orange-yellow plants if you want to trade your dark red daylily. I just harvested seeds from my also, they are still drying. If you're interested, just email me.
John, I have candy lily seeds. There were two colors. I'd be happy to send you some of each. One is a reddish color with dark spots and the other was a two-tone orange and purple ( I really didn't find it all that attractive!), but as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Please e-mail if you'd like them. I'm leaving for vacation and won't be back until 9/4, but I'll answer you then.
John, tiG and Bulblady, this thread got me thinking about the blackberry and candy lilies. I could use your expertise, if you can spare a few minutes.
I added the Pardanthopsis entry to the database today; the Pardancanda and Belamcanda entries were already in there.
Could you please take a moment to look over the Pardancanda http://davesgarden.com/plants/go/378.html, Belamcanda http://davesgarden.com/plants/go/41.html, and Pardanthopsis http://davesgarden.com/plants/go/1289.html entries in the database, and let me know if I need to change any of the basic information? You can post back here, or e-mail me with any changes you find.
If you can add photos, cultivar/hybrid info, propagation tips, etc. to any or all of these, that would be most wonderful.
John, thanks for the alert that some of the hyperlinks were broken - very odd, since I tested them before I submitted my post :(
Let's try that again, shall we?

Thanks for your input on these entries!!!!
