I was at lowes the other day and made an impulse purchase of a champaign loquat tree. I remember having been recommended to buy a Big Jim loquat which, as often seems the case in my gardening experience, has me second guessing myself. I have never tasted the fruit of either tree and the one I grabbed looks pretty. I thought Marcia would love it in her private area which, as it turns out, she does. So the impulse was not bad, just not sure if I should plant this one or trade it in for a Big Jim, bearing in mind that I am in zone 9b. As usual, you guys are instrumental to the direction of my final decision. Thanks guys!
