I am planing to start "Waterizing" a group of Bald Cypresses so that they can start to form some knees. I have some large tubs that I think would work for mini-ponds for this task. The plants that I will be using are only two feet tall right and here are my questions that I have.
1) How much soil should I put on the bottom of the tub then how deep should I make the water? I was thinking six inches of soil and 1 inch of water but I do not know anything.
2) Would I use just normal potting soil or should I use a mixture? (what type of mixture?)
3) What type of fertilizer would I use and would I just though it in the water?
