Are there any bulbs that can be sown now in zone 6-7? I know it is too early for the cannas, glads, etc. but thought there might be a few that are not traditionally planted in the fall as are tulips and daffodils. Please use common names as I am Latin-challenged.

What about Crocosmia? Maybe? -- this description says they aren't so sensitive to cold...
