Kent, you asked how I would support the tomatoes: 6' posts in the ground 8 ft apart about 3 ft from the sides of the bed with horizontal support across the top. Every 4ft a support slanted from the side of the bed to the horizontal support, wire fence on the supports. It's not as complicated as it sounds and protects the fruits, most of which dangle beneath the foliage and fence, from sunburn. It also allows me to double plant the beds.
We do the same for the raised bed around our little 6x8 greenhouse, stake and semi-prune in the little 6x8 greenhouse, and cage in a third bed.
