what is this

Hi,
I just got a little plant off e bay. It this a seed pod or a bloom comming?

Mickey, It looks like a bud. Squeeze it lightly. Buds yield a bit because it is relatively hollow. Seedpods are thick skinned without much give.

I'm afraid to touch it. This will be my first bud ever. It's a Magic Mountain. Now I'm afraid to transplant it to a larger pot till it blooms!

It is a bud and I would only step it up if there is roots comming out the bottom of the pot.

Congrats on your bud Mickey! That is cool.. I have a Mountain Magic about the same size and it has a bud that just popped open this morning!

edited to add.... I'm not going to transplant till the blooms are done.. I wouldn't want to take any chances on making it drop the buds.
