Another Day in Paradise

Batavia, OH(Zone 6a)

So much for Spring! Ah well, we're making snow while the sun isn't shining here. What's the silver lining? Post your favorite snow pix (I know you all have better ones than mine!).

Not bad for most places in the US, but it shuts things down when we get an inch of snow....lol ... I can laugh, since I grew up in Minnesota!

Aww, Thats so pretty Julie!

Batavia, OH(Zone 6a)

Great picture Julie. Sounds like a rare snow event for you and your cardinals!

Bella Vista, AR(Zone 6b)

The cardinals really look brighter with the wintry background. This was our second snowfall this season. (none last year) My relatives in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Quebec have been hammered with snow this year, so they think I am rubbing it in when I show my "big" snow.... I really don't mean to, it brings back fond memories.

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

Wow Julie, that is a LOT of cardinals.

LOL Julie, your snowfall there is called a light dusting here :)

Picture from this morning before the major snowstorm that is moving through right now.

Looking forward to seeing your snow pics tomorrow PC! :-)

Ok, we've got about 8" of snow now. Of course, it's going to be in the 50's by Tuesday, so then we'll have flooding. :) I love the Juncos, but they need to go away now!!

I'll post three pictures. The first is not photoshopped, or doctored in any way. This is my daughter rolling down the hill in the back yard. I thought it turned out pretty cool.

Here's one of my daughter's dog walking in her tracks. We had to get a shot of him in the snow!!

Just a little above one foot of snow here over night on top on what was already there.

Well at least this park bench and trash can are still a little above the snow :)

Oh my goodness!

Batavia, OH(Zone 6a)

Just get any good bird in the snow pictures today (took me too long to give up on my camera and move to the DHs), but did get a really-unhappy-cat shot. Birds had nothing to fear from him today.

Love your snow pictures Lily and PC. Lily, hope you've dug out by now. PC, I guess a foot of snow is a light dusting for you! It was quite the event for us. Cincinnati declared it illegal to drive on the roads for anything other than an emergency. Guess we're lightweights.

I must say, today was gorgeous. I wanted to hike so badly, but am still a bit weak from an operation a couple of months ago and couldn't make it very far. I did manage to shovel snow off the deck so I could put some seed down for the birds though (priorities, priorities).

Cute pic Coo !

Love your pic Indiana with your daughter.
Didn't get the amount they had predicted, but still got to much.
This is the front yard, with today snow.

It's okay Burn, it will be okay…

Celaya, Mexico(Zone 10a)

Poor Kitty :)

Burn, at least you didn't get flooding like some areas.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Wow... I am so glad that system went south of us us and only got a couple inches of snowand with the warmup today it has all melted.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Oh Thanks Mrs_Ed , I needed that. :)
That's true PC, I prefer snow over Rain, which in this area, would turn to ice. Down the Province, they received the rain, and it turned really icy around 10 last night. My son and his family were arriving from their vacation, and had to drive in that weather, from Halifax, to Mocton. They're also afraid for floods down there, right now.
From what I've read, everybody has had a hard winter.

Cincinnati (Anderson, OH(Zone 6a)

coo-- I like your snowy day photo, but it looks like we got off rather lightly compared to the Canadians!

PanamonCreel--that's quite a line up of bird feeders---I bet they get some good use!

We have been sequestered here under our blanket of snow enjoying the backyard birdwatching.

Very very busy at the feeders and I made some gourmet peanut butter suet that has been a big hit. I am worried about our Carolina wrens and a few of the others.
