Streps

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Do streps grow very very slowly? I have the ones Brenda gave a prize in one of the past bingos. They haven't as far as I can see grown any.
They are still very much alive but not bigger.

I was afraid I would kill them. I will try.

Hee Hee ... I haven't been able to keep one alive long enough to see it grow!

Ottawa, IL(Zone 9a)

don't be afraid they are really quite hardy.I repot all the time & thats when they really start to grow alot more.

I have one now that looks horrible and I think she has too many crowns in the same pot. So I need to repot her. I agree with Bonnie about repotting most everything when they don't look good and aren't growing.

makshi, it's cold here (and where you are, too, I know) and my Streps don't grow nearly as much during the winter as they do in the spring and summer. That's probably the biggest problem you're having - they know it's winter! When Spring has finally sprung, I bet you'll find that they take off and grow like weeds. :o)

I hope they do take off when it is warmer.

I lifted my little babies up and tickled the roots a couple of weeks ago and they took off.

Wow Kim,Your strep leaves look great.Hummm maybe a trade when they grow? LOL.

Kim,
