Can someone please tell me why I can't log in to this website? I have been logged in with my desktop computer for some time, but I can not log in with my laptop. I signed myself out on the desktop and still can not log in. They won't let me see ANY posts. I put in my user name and my password and it refreshes the page, but doesn't sign me in. This is very frustrating because I want to follow what's going on with the David Liddle order. I should have checked before I signed myself out on the desktop. This is the second time I have tried to register with this website. The first name I made with them never worked either. I just don't understand. Any advice? Thanks!

I can't tell you how to log on, but I check the site every day for the David Liddle order status, and nothing has changed. There is no news to report. He still has not as far as I know given a cut off date for changes or anything like that. Good luck with trying to log on. I haven't had any problems so I'm no help there.
Doug
I haven't had any problems either and I auto log on at work, on the laptop and desk top.
Dawn
I've logged on today on the desktop, let me see if I can do it on the laptop without any problems. Be right back.
No problem ... can log on with the laptop too.
Sorry I'm no help either.
willow- it does the same thing to me. I figured out to go to the bottomof the page and click where it says home and then I'm on the upper right hand as logged in
Doug- That's the same reason I keep checking in at least a couple times a day. I'm so excited! This will be my first Liddle order!
Here's an update on what I know so far in regards to our spring order. I emailed David Liddle a few days ago about the status of our order.
His response was that they had over 20 inches of rain last month and are expecting at least half that much this month. The hoyas have not hardened off yet as he had expected them to so its taking a bit longer than expected to get our order together.
If he cuts the hoyas before they harden off they will dehydrate quickly and may not survive the long trip they are about to make. Also if he cuts and ships before they all harden off there may be some people who end up not getting all that they ordered. He has all of our orders organized and ready to cut and says that if things go as he hopes they will, then he should be able to begin processing our order by the 20th of this month.

Thanks so much for the update!!! That's just ONE of the reasons we love you so much!
Sorry I haven't posted anything sooner but I know David is a busy man and i've been trying not to be too pushy with him in regards to our order!!
Thanks everyone. I did manage to get in only after I reset my password. Right back to the password I had before lol. Diane, I'll try that next time I have problems. Glad to see I'm not the only one :)
Thanks Michael for the update. I hope their weather clears up soon.
Thanks again!

Thanks so much for the update! I will gladly wait until April or May for healthy cuttings! Wish he could send a little of that rain our way.
N. Queensland has been having terrible weather!!!! Floods and non-stop rain - and it is their summer!!! I really feel badly for them as we get wierd weather too which affects our plants, a lot!!! I will happily wait as long as it takes for my order :>)
As far as I'm concerned, the longer it takes David Liddle to get our order together the better. I would rather wait and get cuttings that will make the journey, because they are hardened off properly. Also, the weather around here just won't get any better. It is the worse winter in recent memory. We have yet another ice storm predicted for this weekend.
Doug
I don't mind the wait either. I just hope they don't come while I'm on vacation. I don't know what to do about that.
I, too, would rather wait and get better cuttings. There will be plenty other things to keep me busy! Like work- ugh- busy time of year for me.
Oh, I just realized that I might have that problem too! I'm going away from May 3rd until May 10th. I guess we'll just have to play that kinda stuff by ear.
I agree with you guys...I'm happy to wait for however long it takes to get nice hardy cuttings! Heck, we're all hoya people, so we're are definitely used to having PATIENCE!!!
Gabi
Gabi, that is the exact same time I'm going on vacation!
Ha! Maybe we're going to the same place!! Are you going on a cruise to the Carribbean by any chance?!
YES I AM!!!!!
How cool is that ... two DG'ers might be on the same cruise ship!
Hey, I think it would be really neat to have a DG Caribbean cruise ... now, wouldn't that be something?
That would be really neat!
No you're not!!! Too funny! Are you going on the Norwegian Spirit?? If you are, we'll need to go searching for hoyas together at each destination!!
I'm not even going on the cruise and I'm anxiously waiting to hear if you two are going to get to go on a Hoya expedition together- How exciting!
Calll me chicken S@#$ if you want I don't care!!! But I don't think every person on DG combined, has enough strength to drag me out into the middle of that ocean regardless of how BIG the boat is!!!!!
LOL!!
We have a cruise coming to my husband and I- He's been with his company over 10 years and that's a bonus you get for that. I get motion sickness BAD so don't really know how it's going to go!
LOL ... we have a 23' boat and I will go in the intracoastal waterway here (river), with land on both sides but you ain't getting me out in the ocean either! Hubby has taken our little boat from Florida to the Bahama's in open water! In 2004 he, a good friend and my brother in law took the boat from Palm Beach to the Abaco's. My sister and I along with my friend's wife flew over and met them! Hubby wants to get a larger boat - one with stateroom, bathroom, kitchen etc and he always asks me if I would make the crossing on a larger boat. I just look at him and say "In almost 39 years of marriage you haven't gotten me to even go on a huge cruise ship in the ocean, you really think I'm going go go out in the open ocean on a 28 or 32 or 42 foot boat? NO WAY! I am totally Chicken **%%@@. I know a lot of folks here in Florida who are cruise fanatics. My next door neighbors are always going on cruises to the Western Caribbean. There are even some cruise ships where you can just go to the Bahamas for the day from Florida. No Thanks ... I will take the 20 minute flight! Now, I have been out in the Gulf of Mexico on our little boat a few times, but real close to shore! That even makes me nervous ... we see dolphins all the time down here but I swear I saw Sharks a couple of times! LOL. When we are in the Bahamas, you need a boat to get from Island to Island but the Islands are close together thank goodness!
Lin and David - you really shouldn't have said that! Now we are gonna come to your houses and DRAG you on a DG cruise!! Just call us the Hoya Posse. Who wants in??
Haha. I go on 1-2 cruises a year, and I absolutely love it. It's my favorite type of vacation. You don't even feel the boat, and when it gets a little "rocky", you just take some Dramamine and you're good to go! Or just have some alcohol to make you forget that you're in the middle of the ocean!
I, too, am anxiously awaiting Pdoyle's reply! Wouldn't that be such a coincidence??
I am amazed. We lived on our 43' boat for 6 years and sailed from Seattle-Alaska-Mexico-Chile-Easter Island-thru French Polynesia, NZ - the South pacific and Australia. It was a lot of hard work and the rewards were GREAT!!! It is one of the highlights of my life! NEVER felt in danger...just tired! sometimes.
Carol
LOL Carol ... That is what my DH would like to do when he retires in a few years! Well, actually he wants about a 42-44' Trawler ... not to live on permanently, we will have a townhouse as home port. We will probably just travel the intracoastal and he could take the boat to the Islands and I will fly to wherever and meet up with him!
Sorry, I'm going on Royal Carribean - Enchantment of the Seas. That would have been so cool. Would do a DG cruise in heart beat!
