new pots

Ottawa, IL(Zone 9a)

Hi All;
Just wanted to show you the new pots jan did for me, they are adorable.they are the nicest idea. I finally tried to do one myself & it came out ok, nowhere near as cute as her's but what a nice way to give away a plant to someone. I just did that last week.I think they are wonderful.

Oh, I LOVE those little pots! I used to save the yogurt cups for planting but never thought to paint them. I am not artistic like Jannich - I love those polka dots! Sooo cute! What a great idea for giving a pretty little plant ... in a pretty little pot!

Wow, Mrsbonnie: With all those leaves and cuttings you are going to be a busy bee! Hope you will post a photo when you get them all potted up!

Jannich, would you like me to save my yogurt and applesauce containers? I eat alot of both but always recycle them. I have never been artistic with a brush so I know this is probably not something I will attempt but I would be happy to save up a bunch of containers for you and send them in the fall for a "winter project" if you'd like :)

Just let me know K?

I'm like Kim ... but I can use a can of spray paint! LOL. And, Stencil's! I might just have to try a couple! Do you poke holes in the bottoms for drainage?

The gerber baby food cups work well too. You can put a stage one perfectly inside of a stage 2 with about 1" inbetween the bottom. If you or anyone you know has babies, this is a gold mine! I get 2 a day out of (or into) my little one!
