Two Hours at a Lake

Melbourne, FL

Spent some time at a local pond/lake this morning and got quite a few shots which I will start uploading. Anyone who wants to ID species please do.

Beautiful shots gardenpom...I almost felt like I was there with you!

The gull is an immature Ring-billed Gull.

The cormorant is a Double-crested Cormorant.

"2nd Duck shot" and "3rd Duck shot" are Mottled Ducks. Congrats! - first pics we've had of them on this forum!

All the other ducks, and the geese, are farm escapes; the white and piebald ducks are farmyard breed Mallards.

More of the same species; the gull in the last gull pic is an adult this time. "9th Duck shot" is a wild Mallard.
