Hold on to your hats

We are due for a big blow this afternoon; we are already seeing 20 mph wind here and we expect them to exceed 40 by this afternoon.

They sent the kids home earily from school or at least mine were told they had to leave. It's just a little wind and rain, come on. My pines need the dead stuff knocked out of them any ways.

They must be afraid of the school buses getting blown around; they have pretty high profiles. Emergency Management has reported only 3 trees down that are blocking major roads.


I've had a couple of hibiscus in 5 gallon pots tossed around the yard. I had just fed and watered them so they should have been heavy enough.

We'll be keeping you in our thoughts tonight.

yep... hilton head christian acad. got out early too... good thing i got my brand new gh bolted down yesterday...it could blow away if we get some of those high winds!!!!
