Where To Purchase Hibiscus Seed

Does anyone know of a good source to purchase tropical hibiscus seed? You all have some beautiful hibiscus plants and I'd love to add a few to my garden. Thanks!

One good place I know of to get them is the American Hibiscus Society. Whatever you do watch out for the scam artists on Ebay who post pictures of photoshopped hibiscus that even if they were real wouldn't come true from seed. And avoid anyone else who's trying to sell you seeds of named cultivars implying that they'll come true from seed--any legitimate sellers know that's not the case and won't try to pretend otherwise.

I second ecrane. Don't buy from this guy who's username is ImperialGarden (or something like that). He's crooked.

Thanks for the tips Ecrane & Amanda. I'll check out AHS for some seeds. I purchased seed last year on ebay for what I thought would be one of those beautiful, tropical hibiscus all of you grow on DG....What I got was a Red Texas Star Hibiscus!!!! I couldn't believe what I pd. for the TSH!

I got some from Bob Carran with AHS. He even mailed to my brother in Singapore, and a friend in Malaysia!
