AdAware 2007 Problems

Hi, it's me again - the lady who just can't seem to get her spyware stuff going again.

I finally successfully loaded AdAware 2007. I have only had one scan that went all the way through. But from there, I'm not sure if I navigated properly, because it showed about 47 infections and when I go to AdAware now, it says zero quarantined.

As far as the scans that aren't going all the way through: I've tried full scan and smart scan. It scans just fine - this time showing 72 infections. However, it gets to a spot where it says "scanning folders (conditional)". The hour glass pops up and it just sits there, for hours, doing nothing so the scan doesn't finish. I have no idea how to fix this to get a complete scan.

So - I need to know what to do to get a complete scan, and then what to do the get the infected items to quarantine.

Anybody?
