I was just yesterday wondering the same thing!!!
I too have missed her, RainGazer and SnowRose. I asked about them on another thread a few weeks ago. We've got Rain back now but I don't know about the other two. Brenda may be busy with the family business, family and kids. Hopefully we will hear from her before long.
R we talking about bmedel? If so I've really missed her too. She's the first one here that dmailed me to welcome me to DG and was just so nice.
Yep, Bmedel/Brenda! I haven't seen her post since October or November! I just checked her member page and she is subscribed through May this year so hopefully she will pop in and say hello before long. Sure hope everything is okay with her. Someone else I've missed is Rose318/Patti. She is subscribed through some time in 2009.

I am getting better. I too missed Rain, and wish Brenda would chime in. I would also like Snowrose to let us know where she is. I haven't talked to Rose318 in many months.

( I sure wish I knew how to do the quote thingy where you take a piece of someone elses post and repost it in a box..I'm not that computer savy so anyway..LOL.. like Kim said..spring is coming and all our chicks will be out and about soon I'm sure :)... LOL, I am not computer savy either and would love to be able to use those cutsy little icons like hearts, kitty faces etc that I see some folks use in their posts. Someone directed me to a site last year but I never could get it to work on my computer! :(

Put the little [ sign (next to the p on your keyboard) and type the word quote and then the ] sign. Like this: [word quote inserted here] Then........highlight, copy & paste what you want to quote after the bracket. At the end of the quote type [/quote]
So you tell the computer, start quote here..........quote this.........end quote :)

Basically, what you told the computer in the last post is start quote......and then start quote again.

OK, let's all go one step further:
To bold use the symbols next to your M button (hold down the shift key and basically use them like you would the [ key for quotes. Put a B in the middle of the first set of < > and type what you want bold then put the < > signs with a /b in the middle to tell the computer to end bold.
To underline, put a U in place of the B
To italicize, put an I in place of the B
To strike through put an S in place of the B
You don't have have to use capital letters, I just did to make it easier reading.

I've been wondering where Brenda was, too. I was away from DG for a while and she left while I was gone. I tried to find if she'd said something about leaving, but she didn't that I can see. Sure do miss her!
