Darby has a brother, now. Though if you ask him, he will say "There is no dog!"
Birdie is 5-6 years old, a 14 pound sheltie mix. He was found as a stray and turned in to our local shelter. He was skinny, with very bad teeth, and sometime in his life half of his tail was cut off.
He pretty much loves everyone, but has typical "little dog syndrome", which makes him snippy around other dogs. We are working on this. :)
He just now gave Darby his first kiss, so I think we are making progress!
