Best days to plant - March 2008
My almanac said to plant parsley March 1-7. Got a packet planted Mar. 7, 72 cells of it. Now germinating here in the computer room.
Have been killing weeds and doing general garden clean up Monday, Tuesday and today. Hope to finish tomorrow. ( at least the back section of our property).
I ended up starting a big project yesterday - the weather finally gave me a break to start a lasagna-bed project in the front yard. It's one of those things where there was just no way I could get it done on the 8th or 9th.....sigh.... Today will include starting some more flower, herb and veggie seeds.
se_eds - which almanac are you using? One of the things I wanted to plant today was parsley...
I've always used The Old Farmer's Almanac ( Robert Thomas).
