Where to get Brad Thompson begonias

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Is Kartuz the only place to get Brad thompson begonias?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Could be. Brad lives there and works with Mr. Kartuz. He had his own greenhouse there and it is chockful of incredible begonias.

Every plant was perfect in there!

That last one looks like 'Muddy Waters' (is that it Kelley?). A lot of older Thompson hybrids can be found almost everywhere. The newer ones are probably only at Kartuz.

I really like Thompson's upright jointed rhizomes. Here are a few.

Are those your begonias? hcmcdole

I can see I'm gonna have to head over to the plant trading forum, and make a list, see if I can trade for some of Brad thompson's begonias, they are beautiful

The first two were at Kartuz (along with Kell and Lali) and the last one was at The Gazebo (Mike Flaherty's place).

I did pick up some of the upright jointed rhizomes at Kartuz and the plant sale. 'Little Brother Montgomery' and 'Connie Boswell' are the parents of some of these newer hybrids.

Here is 'Connie Boswell' from a couple of years ago.
