the war escalates!
jasper is doing so well with everything else and it's only been 2 days now but he rushes tom the minute tom jumps from the windowseat (his new hideout) and then starts relentlessly barking. i shout no and clap my hands and he stops and runs to me but it's the same thing over and over. i've been giving tom extra love and attention and put jasper on the porch several times a day so that tom can at least eat and get to the litter box. he can roam all night if he wants to because i'm keeping jasper locked in the bedroom with me but i don't see any real improvement yet on the "getting along" phase.
any suggestions?
btw, debbiedaisy, yes, he's crate-trained and yes, he slept in my bed! LOL it must have been his first time ever. he sat by the crate when i got in bed and i told him the choice was his and patted the bed. he was astounded!.....and slept soundly all night at the foot of the bed.
