that certainly is an atypical Aloe brevifolia flower- usually they are long, narrow and orange. This looks more like a grass aloe flower or perhaps some form of Aloe humilis.. what does the rest of the plant look like?

Ah, I was right, that is NOT Aloe brevifolia, but Aloe humilis... can you change that? Not even sure it's not some variety of Aloe humilis, but at least it is Mostly Aloe humilis... no Aloe brevifolia in it at all that I can tell.
