Hi everyone,
Would any of you have this great little plant? I lost one
over a year ago and would love to find it again. I'm willing to buy
it or trade something for it.
Thanks!
Susan
Trailing African Violet "White Snow"
I don't have it and I looked on first class and it is not there. Maybe it is an old vintage one.
Check out www.bloomlovers.com
They carry a lot of vintage violets
Hi Magic! I have searched everywhere I can think of to search for it, and I can't find an AV by that name. On the AVSA's Vintage Violets "Most Wanted" list, I find 'Snow White Trail'. Bad news is, the reason it's on that list is because it's not known if that cultivar even exists anymore. :o(
Are you certain 'White Snow' is the correct name? Do you remember where you got it? Do you have a picture of it you could post? I don't mean to blast you with questions, but any of those might help us be able to find it. And if it simply can't be found, I'm sure we could point you in the direction of one that's very similar to it. Was it a standard or mini trailer?
I'm such an idiot! And I was sick when I posted this so I'm going to use that as my excuse :o) It's actually "Falling Snow" and a trailing AV.
Thanks for trying to help me!
I found the photo on AVSA website ... beautiful Trailing AV: http://www.avsa.org/Photographs/FallingSnowLrg.jpg#http://../Photographs/FallingSnowLrg.jpg%23
Couldn't find it for sale anywhere though.
LOL It's okay Magic! Just think, at least you didn't call it 'Yellow Snow'! ;o)
I'll look again and see if I can find it for you. :o)
Falling Snow (P. Tracey) Semidouble white. Light green. Semiminiature trailer
Now that you know the hybridizer's name maybe everyone can start searching along with you........I forgot about VioletGallery, also.
Thanks! Believe me, I've looked everywhere for this.
I originally found it on ebay but can not remember the seller and since it was a few years ago the description is no longer available in my history.

They had it at one point, I do believe. This is their eBay page and I bet they're the ones you remember. Couldn't hurt to email and ask.
