Sticking out like a sore thumb

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

I was surprised this morning to wake up to a yard full of blackbirds.
As I looked over the yard being filled up again after the dogs came back in, this one stood out.
He has a black spotted head. Anyone know what type he is.
I felt like I was in the Hitchcock movie The Birds. The yard was covered in with them and the noise was very loud as they roosted in the trees nearby and on rooftops.

It is probably a grackle with a white head. There have been a lot of mutations seen lately. A couple of years ago we had a striped one, and this year we have a male cardinal with two light white spots on his chest and a female with a dark blue spot on her chest. BEV

Ironically, I took this photo of the Common Grackle this weekend. Although not as pronounced as yours, Windy, mine too stood out in the crowd. I believe leucistic birds are becoming more common, or we are becoming more observant.

Thanks for the replies. They didn't seem to mind him at all and he seemed sort of Alpha if birds have an alpha. He would run others off.

Partial albino (not leucistic, that's where the whole bird is pale but not white)
