Arbor Day = Green Day

I was tickled to see this arrive in the mail today...anyone else doing anything special for April 25th, Arbor Day?

What is in the pack? I belong to Arbor Day Foundation too.

You ever check your extension office for giveaways? The Beaufort office gives out native trees in the beginning of December ever year I think, I don't know if they all do it but I assume so.

the last time I went to Clemson ext they were closed...but I should try and check them out again..thanks Core!

If you work in a nursery you need to be on a first name basis with the Newberry county horticultural agent, (although not all counties have hort agents.) The office does close on federal/state holidays but should be open all other times. If you ask to get on their mailing list you should hear when they have the tree give aways or sales. Here in Beaufort you can get the baby trees for free but you can also buy larger trees at a ridiculously low price. I think it was around $5 this year for flowering and fruit trees that were almost 6' tall.
