A lot of good it will do us at the "end of time" (doomsday?) If there's anyone left, all they have to do is learn how to fly a plane to Norway (assuming there are any planes left). Hopefully there will be enough earth left untouched by radio activity to plant the seeds.
Just joking! I can see how this will benefit the world when catastrophic events happen, such as famine, typhoons, earthquakes and such. At least I hope they'll be willing to crack the vaults in those situations.

Well, as long as we're doing the Garden of Eden, we needs some genetic seeds for Human Beings, too. Male and Female. And some test tubes to grow them in. Because, any catastrophe big enough to knock all the plants out might sterilize humans, too. No more little ones!
In fact...ahem...there is some indications that the human race is heading down that road anyway...ahem...(not mentioning the research about...well...I'd better not mention it...)
