Hello, from Baltimore MD

I signed up for Dave's Garden on 12/5/07 and finally subscribed 2/23/08. Two years ago, I decribed myself as having a brown thumb, a real plant killer.... yes, I have killed Cactus, snake plants, and spiderplants. Today, I have a community garden plot, an expanding backyard container garden (or kitchen garden) and I have houseplants. I am amazed and excited at the wealth of the information on this site. I really look forward to learning, sharing and growing here. My interest for now are container gardening, vegatables, strawbale gardening, hydroponics, aquaponics, composting, soft fruit growing, sustainability, biointensive gardening, cubed foot gardening and square foot gardening. Thanks, I'll bevisiting frequently.

We just had a seed swap in Frederick on the day you signed up. Lots of people from the Baltimore area came. I'm sure someone will be having a plant swap sometime in spring.
