I think I have finally narrowed down my hedge/tree selection and was hoping for a few ideas of where I might purchases them. I am new to the area and not confident in going it on my own.
The size I am looking to purchase is a minimum of 30 gallon container grown. Will also need them to be planted
Wax Myrtle (2-3)
Yaupon Holly (3)
Little Gem Magnolia (1)
Any suggestions?
Has anyone bought from Treeland in Gunter?
I am in Kessler Park... North Oak Cliff, just south of downtown Dallas round about area,
I am never quite sure what to say as some people give me the blank stare when I say Kessler Park...
Thank you in advance!

Recommendations for Dallas Tree Nursery?
Cocoa - I did get a quote from the landscape contractor that did all the all the hardscape in my yard and his quote is almost double what their prices are. "ouch" :)
I think I am going to take a drive up there this morning to see what they are all about. The cost of the hardscape has me reeling and I am thinking I need to do some checking around. I'll post what I find today, if I am able to make it up there.
Thank you for the feed back!
Cduff, plant smaller plants and do it yourself, they will grow fast and save you a lot of money.

Hi Frostweed - unfortunately i have an issue with my neighbors in the back. They are constantly building on to their collection of garages and spend the afternoons on the roof gazing into my back yard. Sounds crazy but I no longer have the patients to want to look at them or deal with them. I have had numerous problems with their dogs and mine and had a $2000 vet bill due to their dog (Pitbull) getting a hold my dog paw under the fence. He nearly died due to loss of blood but thank god he is very large and pulled through. I love my house, hate the neighbors. Anything I can do to wall them off the sooner the better. A good portion of the construction was walling off the space between the fences with very large boulders reinforced with rebar so my big guy can't move them... So in the end I really want something that will start large and block them off faster. Good news the other neighbors are great and plants along the side will be much smaller and planted by me.
I appreciate your weighing in! Under normal conditions I would agree 100%

Duff, very familiar as I was raised in that area. In order to build a garage or any other building a permit from the city is required. There are lots of things that are considered before the permit is granted. I think a call to building code and code enforcement may be in order. In our area of Dallas County pit bulls are not allowed at all. Quite possible that you have a case to have the one adjacent to your property removed.
