What do you think about their begonia's?
Does anyone order from Ades & Gish wholesale nursery?
I think they are wholesale only and then serve only California unless they've changed recently. They did let the ABS convention members buy from them at last year 's convention and they had some beauties.
Glad to hear that they were on the ABS tour. I work for a company that purchases plants from them for a retail store. WOOHOOO for me.... I also do the plant orders for the store so I'm thrilled to be able to buy from them. They sell their begonia's in collections so I'm never sure what willl come in. So far all of the plants have been fantastic and I've gotten 20 plus new ones in a two week time frame. I was just hoping that this company was good so the plants would hopefully be true to name. Looks like it is.... Guess I'll keep ordering, who needs a paycheck. It's like Christmas once a week for me. Now to get the ones that I didn't buy sold so I can order more.
Not sure about proper labeling (I got some that weren't labeled right or no label at all but then I don't buy for names anyway) but the quality was very good.
Are you getting begonias from Harmony out of FL? They have excellent plants, just wish I knew all the stores that ordered from them. Our local Ace Hardware would get them from time to time but this is the second time they went out of business.
Not able to order from Harmony but I'm off to google it. Maybe we can add a new source :)
I am so jealous, Kristi. I can't even get begonias from them and I live in the same state.
I loved their nursery. Lots of huge ones too. Butch was my pal there. I wish I could go there this minute and buy a few. Or a lot.
I just know you will have huge ones by the middle of the summer and I will be even more jealous! I shtis a new job? What do you do? I want your job too. LOL
