something called "laguna sunset"

Rockport, TX(Zone 9b)

A nearby nursery has a hibiscus labeled "laguna sunset" with a deep orange blossom with a red throat. The blossom is a large one. Has anybody heard of this? I can't find it in the plantfiles or in forum discussions. I'd like to see a picture online to compare.

Thanks so much!

Be careful relying upon id from Oso Growers. The attached is a bloom of Herm Geller, a famous brown exotic, and they are offering it as "Fifth Dimension," an even more famous exotic hibiscus with bands of color, none of them brown. I didn't spend long on the web site, but that mistake is very basic for hibiscus "professionals."
best wishes,

Oops. Sorry Decklife, it seems that may or may not be your Laguna Sunset. That was the first site that mentioned it when I googled the name and perhaps they are not the most accurate. I bow to Barry's expertise.

Well, that's disappointing. The blossom I saw at the nursery did look like the picture at Oso.
The "Fifth Dimension" picture makes me wonder whether the plants I saw labeled as Fifth Dimension are indeed Herm Geller. There weren't any blooms when I saw it, but I'm going to keep an eye out.

Yes, I saw several at Maas Nursery in Seabrook from this company, Herm Geller blooms on plants labeled Fifth Dimension. I went to their website to confirm when someone mentioned their nursery down near you.

Glad I didn't buy one expecting that nice color change of the Fifth Dimension.
