i just got a flyer from Minnesota [Owatonna]. they have a great selection, but not sure if they have all you have listed. their number is 507-451-6782 in case they are nearby you, shippping costs are high! they don't have a website, they are breeders, over 50 years in business...
i am circling what i want form them now LOL

And Although in the back of my head I already knew.. I think I had choosen to forget that they are only 80-90% right... agggh, I really don't want roos... nor am I ready for .. meat.. say some caged chickens up the road.. wonder what their story is.. might have to check them out.. might be a sorce for me to take my unwanted roos to, until I'm ready to take a different plunge.
well, there isn't a 100% promise b/c it is really hard to sex chicks. Does my pet chicken do sexed orders for silkies? Most silkie places say straight run only, which means that you take your chances.
If you end up with a roo by mistake, there are a few things you can do. Kill him. Give him away. Love him. If you handle all your chicks a lot from the time you get them, you can keep him tame.
I would never have thought this to be true, except that my next door neighbor has three enormous roosters. She is a small girl. she carries them around, she puts her fingers in their mouths, etc. They are very gentle towards people ( not each other!!) So I've been doing that with my rooster. I carry him around under my arm when i do the chores. Now, if I even wiggle my fingers at him, he runs away. I'm the head rooster! hehe
MPC Does sell sexed silkies.. but $7 for females and $6. for males but $3. for straight runs.. so I decided on the silkies to take my chances and go run with them! Hopefully I will get at least 1 female..
Anyway, order is in.. just waiting and drawing coop plans..
