I'm not talking about exotic locations like Costa Rica (although if you are please share),just places that aren't too far away but that you know are good birding locations.
I plan on going to a nature center soon near me close to the Delaware River.
I also hope to be able to go down the shore this year as much as possible to several different prime birding locations. The shore is within 1 1/2 -2 hrs from my home.
Anyone else?
Anyone planning Bird Watching trips?
We are going to Springfield (Mo) tomorrow and hope to stop by Lake Springfield and hopefully see some "new" birds or waterfowl. DH and I go birding usually at least once a week but so far have not been very successful at spotting anything different. It is always fun and exciting though...you never know what you're gonna see!
Have a fun trip,
Rose
I combine my fishing trips (catch and release) with birdwatching! Hope to make it to the Delaware this spring,
Bulls Island, Raven Rock and of course Yardley. Our fishing trips are mainly local, freshwater. If the bay is calm enough we will go early in the am and the birds are wonderful! GM
That would be great bird watching GM.
If I get a chance, this Summer, I'd like to go to Prince-Edward -Island, visit my sister and we can go birding together.Lots of water bird there.
