That was my post in early December. I saw the thread on 'that' other forum. I posted a reply on that forum early on Sunday with the pictures, but I don't see my post or pictures. I think the posts are screened by the admin before she decides whether to post them.
She doesn't seem to like the 'resident experts' on this forum or on GW. I am thankful for the quick answers I get and the help I receive from both forums. I'm a patient lady and I will just wait for this plant to bloom. Then I will come to 'my favorite resident experts' to find out what it is.Thanks gals and guys for all your help.
Yes...that must be it....thanks.
Well, Christine Burton ID'd my plant years ago, by the leaves, as H. F-440...also by the flowers. Later I sent it to Antone Jones (www.dischidia.com) and he bloomed it AND sent it to the most knowledgeable person re: dischidia around, who ID'd it as Dischidiopsis parasitica. I think you can trust Antone's opinion on 'that other forum'....he is thorough, knowledgeable and honest.

Thanks Carol. Antone said it was Dischidiopsis parasitica. So when it blooms (if I'm alive that long :), I'll send email and pictures to Antone and make sure before I put a label on it. It's a very fast grower, so maybe it will bloom soon. I hope.

Mine has been blooming...don't know what triggers it. You can trust Antone...he is great!!!
