bloomingbulb hacked?

Wasn't sure where to post this, but when I checked my email today, I had two obvious spam/phishing emails claiming to be from bloomingbulb. I went to their website to report it and the site is down with a maintenance notice.

I called and it looks like hackers got their email database but the man I talked to said it appears that customer's credit card info is safe, that they only got the emails. Their tech people are working on the problem now so that's all they can say right now.

If you get any emails, be sure not to open them and for goodness sakes don't click through any links in them.

Uh Oh! I got that email too, and opened it. I didn't click on any links though.

If you ever want to read an email without opening it, just right click on it and click on "properties," "details" through to "message source." Sometimes it's a little harder to find the text if they have a lot of html but in this case they didn't.

Thanks for the heads up. I just checked and I had one too.

I got the email also and called them and talked to Scott. They are aware of these emails and are working on it.

Their website is back up. I hope they'll be emailing all of us to let us know what happened.

Thanks for posting this. I got two "spam" type emails from them also.

I got 1 too:( I thought it was odd & did not click on the links, I sure hope they are telling the truth, I would die if my CC was maxed out, I think I will keep a very close eye on it. :)Anita
