Quivering

My Cocker Spaniel is turning into a Chiuahua(sp).
She gets these bouts of uncontrollable quivering. Is she just being anxious about something maybe?
Is this a "breed" thing? I've never had a Spaniel before, so not sure if a vet visit is in order.
