weed, image number 2
That is some kind of insidious ground cover that comes up in the spring, dies back but reseeds about 10000%. Impossible to curb without killing everything around it. It even grows in my St Augustine. I really hate it in small beds as it takes over and looks horrible.
Ann
AnnieJo, are the little flowers white. or are they yellow?
The flowers are itsy bitsy white ones.
Ooo.. I get these, too. I'd love to know what they are.
I believe it is Chickweed, and introduced plant that is on the Texas Invasive list.

Josephine.
I pull it if I have the time, does no real harm and gives a nice green carept look beofre the summer heat hits. I will leave it in beds that are just getting established just to make sure they have some soil cover before our big heat.
