How to get rid of wild onion?

That little beast moved into a few of my beds and it's there to stay :( As you know, unless you plan on digging up the entire bed and sifting through the soil to find every piece of onion bulb, it'll come right back. It's really only a hassle in spring and fall when it seems to grow...but it looks bad.

Is there any way to rid myself of it? Any wedd killer that will target that and nothing else or at least not my wide range of desirable plants I do have in my bed?

Thanks. Whatever it is, I like the idea of scratching the skin and applying roundup directly to that. I'll try that.
