I just purchased two begonias because of their gorgeous blooms--one red and one yellow. The container says they are Hiemalis begonias. Is this an annual, and if so, will these ever bloom again? I have them in the house with lots of light. What can I expect from these as far as life expectancy and blooms? I'm not familiar with begonias.
Hiemalis begonias
Most folks treat them as annuals. I think you can keep them as perennials but typically they usually won't look as nice as when you buy them unless you can give them just the right growing conditions. You might look through the begonia forum and see if this has been answered before.
