Printer - Extra Pages

At work we are on a network system. Several computers are connected to a laser printer. When I print any document be it from a word program or a copied page from a web, an extra blank sheet of paper is ejected from the printer after the document is finished.
There is one person who is connected to the printer and had IT do some adjustments to her system and she no longer has the problem, but our IT person cannot remember what he did to alleviate the problem. Any suggestions appreciated.
