In 1989 a customer where I worked was Epi-crazy and gave me a starter of a variety called Hawaiian Belle. I still have the plant which has been a trooper moving and moving again in alot of military moves. I know have a house with a lovely sunroom and want to really work with the plant to improve it's life. It has never bloomed, but truthfully it got some shameful care from me and still hung in there. I have read alot about the care and am going to give it a new life this year. I just really would like to know if anyone has heard of this one and what color the flowers are. Thanks!
Hawaiian Belle anyone heard of this one?
I haven't heard of that one, but there are thousands upon thousands of named hybrids. Your best bet is to Google "Epiphyllum Hawaiian Belle" to see if you get any hits with pictures or try searching the gallery here: http://www.epiforums.com/
Thanks! When I didn't have an answer I did look in the plant files and no luck. I have tried every version of google entries but nothing. However if I use the name as a clue it seems that everything with the name hawaii and belle seem to be fuschia or red so until I see the flowers I guess that will do.
