How Do You Freeze Bread to Keep it from Thawing Out Wet?

We live in the boonies, so I buy 5 or 6 loaves of bread at a time and freeze them. I follow a suggestion from Martha Stewart and thaw them in the refrigerator, which is supposed to keep the loaf from getting soggy. It does not work.

Anybody???
