Old live oaks?

I have no idea what they even look like but from the way she talked I thought maybe a weeping cherry or something but she said no to the picture I showed her of one of those.

That's what I thought when I read her post.

Phyllis, if you haven't gone yet, you need to go down to the Alamo. It's worth the trip just for the old live oaks alone.

Oh, yeah, some of those large older live oaks are so cool! We don't have those really big live oaks, but some of ours are snake-like...the way they bend over and twist around. When my grandchildren were little, they just loved to get on those convoluted branches or trunks. A vertical tree doesn't offer the same opportunies for children to play.

Well thanks y'all for helping me find out what they were my mom thought they were so neat and the couple they run around with down there didn't' know either so they called and told them too.
One of those would be soo neat to have here but nto sure where I would put it LOL and probably wouldn't' grow up here like it does down there
