We've added a new addition to our family. This sheltie belonged to a lady that works with me. She tied him up outside because "he was too hyper and he tore up the house". I asked her specifically what types of things he tears up, and her reply was throw rugs. Wow, maybe she should've just had him put down. Why do people get dogs and think that they are going to just lay on the floor and come when ever you want to play with them? Anyway, I couldn't bear the thought of him being tied to the end of a chain for the rest of his life, so I decided to give him a new home. We brought him home on a trial basis for the weekend because I already have 2 dogs and they are both pretty spoiled and protective of both my husband and myself. When the dogs are outside, they run around and play like maniacs, but once they are inside, there is a lot of squabbling going on. But my husband and I have decided that we can deal with having 3 dogs, so we have decided to keep him. His name is Bandit, but I am thinking about changing it to Bailey. He is about 11 months old. Isn't he so cute?
