Maybe not. This is the one I ordered from Bonnie. Seems like the dots should
be larger. It's raring to grow and waiting on a bigger pot.

Hey Jackie,

I was thinking FQ had unmistakable large polka dots. Anyway it looks like a nice cane but I think they are either confused about what they are selling or hoping the buyer is.

I heard Saturday at our begonia club meeting (Charles Jaros was one of our guest speakers) that Lucerna has red blooms and if it is any other color then it may look like Lucerna but it isn't (but how red is what I want to know?) All the experts there (Mary Bucholtz, Johanna Zinn, Maxine Zinman, and Charles) said that it is hard to ID lots of begonias (especially canes) because there are so many that look similar. I'm so glad to hear that I wasn't the only one confused on ID'ing begonias.

Butch, I agree. The FQ I had several yrs ago definitely had larger dots.
I may try to order elsewhere and see what they send me for FQ.
I've never heard that Lucerna has red blooms. I do think that in different
parts of the country, the bloom color can and does vary.
I know she has the
largest bloom cluster of any cane Begonia.
