Today, I picked up my first ever foster dog. Since our pack is now down to 3, I feel like if I get attached it won't be more than I can handle. I hope I'm able to go thru the whole foster thing though, either way at least 1 animal will be helped. I specifically requested a small to med sized male because my other 3 are girls and I thought they might get along with a new boy rather than a girl. To make a long story short, I brought Domino home today, got every one introduced with very little trouble but when Domino rolled over for a bellie rub....something was missing! It's a girl, LOL, I guess everything happens for a reason.
Anyone what to take a guess at what mix she might be? "His" Petfinder page says beagle/lab mix, the card on "his" pen said beagle/JRT mix. She's approx 5 months old and can almost reach my waist when she stretches up, I think that rules out the beagle/JRT and since she wasn't a male, the beagle part might be wrong too, LOL. I think her feet look weird, long skinny toes. What do you all think??
