I heard and read its almost impossible to get a croton to bloom in a pot, let alone indoors. Well, my Mrs. Iceton that I got at HD about nine months ago is doing just that! I was a bit started to see it. Don't know how to post a pic, or I would. Anyone else have one bloom indoors? By the way, the bloom is very hard to describe. Very delicate and fairy-like.
Anyone's Croton blooming?
I've one that bloomed outdoor this year. It hard to see at a glance because of the leaves seem to cover them up, you can observe them in close up. Got a pic. somewhere I can't find them at presence.
I have a few croton's in pots out on my deck and have had a couple of them bloom before but I've never thought to take a picture of the blooms. Mine have always bloomed in late summer if I remember correctly. Next time I get a bloom I will have to take a picture.
Lily_Love, that is a lovely bloom ... aren't they just so dainty and pretty?
