I saw here somewhere a website that gave great information on personalitys of different breeds of chickens, and pics of the babys. Can you tell me where that site is?
Im going to be getting some baby chicks in about a month, sexed and assortments the local feed store ordered from mcmurays, But the different breeds will be mixed up, I would kind of like to be able to pick the breeds I like best

kelboindy, if you go on the McMurray Hatchery website, it will show you what the chicks look like, but I don't know about personalities. Mostly you will learn that by talking to others and maybe reading here in the garden.

Hendersons Chicken Breed Chart will tell you about many of the breeds and their colors, personalities, egg colors, size and amount, along with other interesting information : )

I have been lurking (mostly), But have learned a lot from everyone. I have a good idea of which ones I want, I just wanted to narrow it down a bit more. LOL
Also wanted to see if I can possibly identify my choices when they are a day old or so.
