I would like to try 2 or 3 blocks anyone want the other 10,000???
This is interesting
That looks like it could turn into a nightmare in a rainy year. In a dry year, great but on an average year I think it would be more a problem then a help.
I don't think it is for use outside in general. I use the re-hydrated coir bricks all the time for propagating. Coco fiber drains very well while remaining just moist enough for cuttings or seed to start. I have to buy them at the pet store where they are sold for reptile bedding and they are expensive there. The hydroponics people use this stuff too.
ardesia if it's free you could start one of those co-op things? I couldn't tell if they're big but I assume they're light when dry?
You notice his number is a Savannah number?
I wish I was closer, not that I'd need 10,000 cubes but coco fiber is great for all kinds of stuff. The old man loves it, it's got that science project appeal when you add the water
so how do you get the things, ardesia, do you have to get them all?
nice observation, core... i wonder why its a SAV number but in charleston....
Just because I had too much time on my hands I checked the Savannah craigslist and it was not listed there. Very strange indeed.
might just be a cell phone
It's good stuff, and if it hasn't been soaked or otherwise contaminated, I could use 20-30 bales of it. So ardesia, all we have to do is figure out how to get rid of the other 10,567 blocks of the stuff...because I'm sure he's looking for a "one money" deal...
tropicanna's probably right
I wish we had Craigslist here.Last time I looked there wasn't one.We do have freecycle and I have used that to give things away but have never found anything I want.
I would take some if the seller would sell part of the load.
Seek and ye shall receive.... The pickin's are slim however.

I always forget about freecycle, gotta check that one out.
When my son moved to FL he sold the (used) moving boxes on craigslist for $100, who would have thought.....?.
