how do brugs do in earth boxes

This is from a newbie. If brugs like a lot of water and feed, how would they fare planted in an earth box where they would have a continuous supply of both? Since I live in Central Texas, keeping things moist is a challenge. Thanks,

That would be my thought as well and staking seems like it would be a problem.
