how do brugs do in earth boxes

(Annie ) in Austin, TX(Zone 8a)

This is from a newbie. If brugs like a lot of water and feed, how would they fare planted in an earth box where they would have a continuous supply of both? Since I live in Central Texas, keeping things moist is a challenge. Thanks,
Annie

Good Question Annie! I can't answer, but sure am curious to see what others think.

*scratching head... wondering what an earth box is*

Edited to say that I googled it and I now know. I think it sounds like a fabulous idea!

I wonder? People grow tomatoes in them with success. I'll bet someone out there has tried one or made one that's similar.

I'd think the only issues would be that some brugs get awfully big!

That would be my thought as well and staking seems like it would be a problem.
