How do I divide bulbs

I have caladium bulbs I took up in fall this year. I know that I can somehow divide the bulbs and make more plants. I just don't know how. One person says "cut them up" another says to take them apart where their is growth going out from the original
I would like to pull my hair out, but figured ya'll could probably help me and I wouldn't have to be bald.
Please help so I'm not still sitting here in August trying to figure it out

I remember last year someone explaing how to cut them up.....caladiums4less, but I don't have a clue where the thread is.

You'd think it would be easy to find out. I've been to every website I could find to try and find out. Maybe I'll get some more feedback from here and we can both find out
