Linda, that is a lovely fritillary picture, but it has been suggested to me that it is not the Variegated Fritillary, but the rather similar Great Spangled Fritillary (Speyeria cybele): http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/go/37/

Oh I'm so sorry not to get back to you, Thanks for checking into my mistake, I'm a newbie : (. I hope you have already move it and thank you very much, I learn some more about this type of butterfly.
